Coffee house of horrors: Telekinesis stunt leaves customers screaming in terror after a 'possessed' woman threw a man against the wall with the power of her MIND

Carrie

In a crazy city like New York, little surprises its inhabitants.
But Manhattan's coffee lovers got more than just a jolt from their caffeine when they went to a West Village cafe recently for their morning mocha.
All is calm and normal in 'sNice Cafe and it appears to be business as usual - that is until a customer knocks a woman's coffee over while he is leaving, causing it to spill all over her papers and her computer.
Cue angry screams and shouting as the young woman goes apoplectic on the guy.
And just when bemused customers were putting it down to another stressed-out New Yorker, the unthinkable happens.

The girl, using her 'powers of telekinesis', throws the man against the wall several times, pulls books from shelves and scatters tables across the floor. All with the power of her mind.
Or at least that's what the coffee shop patrons thought.
The stunt or 'prankvertising' was just one clever marketing ploy for the upcoming release of the Julianne Moore movie Carrie - a remake of Stephen King's classic.

And it obviously worked. Engineered and executed by Sony, Telekinetic Coffee Shop Surprise has already received close to four million views on YouTube since being posted yesterday.
The video begins with the Sony crew erecting a fake wall in the coffee shop and positioning themselves behind it to carry out the stunts.

As well as the fake wall, remote-controlled tables and chairs and spring-loaded bookshelves are in place to make it look as if they are being hurled around by the power of the woman's mind.
A hidden camera catches the customers' priceless reactions as they stare in horror or flee from the coffee shop. Even a dog seems to do a double take.
Cut to a still from the new Carrie movie and what you have is a very effective advertising campaign.
This kind of 'prankvertising' is becoming more popular.
Recently, LG released an advertisement for its 82-inch Ultra HD TV after pranking applicants who had come in for a job interview
The company created a fake office in which one of its screens was positioned to look like a window.
Magic: The girl performs 'telekinesis' just by holding her hand up, as the power of her mind does the work, at least that's what petrified customers are led to believe

She's not done: Still angry, the woman turns around and sends the chairs and tables scattering across the coffee shop floor in a rage

The end is near: As she does her best Carrie-esque scream, books fly from shelves and pictures from walls

Nightmares: Though there has been speculation everyone in the video is an actor, there is no denying the fear etched on this woman's face

To begin with, the interview process seems perfectly normal as the interviewer shakes their hand and starts to look at their resume.
But then the cityscape outside starts to change, the blue sky turns black, a meteor emerges from the clouds and suddenly the city explodes.
The combination of high-def images and sound is - apparently - so realistic that each of the four interviewees freak out, panicking and screaming as they see what they think is their city being destroyed.
