It’s a season of jollity and benedictions for His Royal Majesty, Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan, the Olugbo of Ugbo, in Ondo state.
Days back, he celebrated his 4th year, on the throne of his forefathers, in grandstyle. It was a celebration that exuded all dashes of gaiety, and merriment.
We gathered that the man of immense means, was full of smiles and gratitude, as scores of high and mighty within Nigeria’s socio-political landscape trooped to his Ugbo Palace to celebrate with the billionaire chairman of OBAT Oil.
Those who visited his Igbokoda palatial dwelling, where he is currently residing pending the completion of his Ugbo palace,were still gawked at the sight of the expensive cars in the garage of the stylish monarch. Everybody, who knows him will attest, the even he ascended the throne, he lived every inch a king, with everything around bearing stamp of panache and glamour.
