Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele

Prophetic pronouncements by Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, the founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Oke-Afa, Isolo, Lagos, reminds one of those biblical days when God spoke to nations through his prophets.
Those following his predictions have come to terms with the Holy Bible as stated in 2 Peter 1 verse 20-21 that: “Prophecy never had its origin in the will of man but men spoke of God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”

Months before the ill-fated plane mishap involving Belleview and Sosoliso airlines in 2005, he advised the Aviation Ministry to pray to avert the incidents. Now, the cleric is calling on the aviation sector again to pray to God to avert another air disaster between October 2014 and early 2015.
In an interview with Saturday Independent in December 2011, he predicted the atrocities to be committed by Boko Haram members in 2013 and the killing of the leader of the group, the gang up against President Goodluck Jonathan  by some Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors and the way out.
Thus, Ayodele could be viewed from the account of the book of Deuteronomy 18 verse 12 in the bible which says: “ If a prophet proclaimimg in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumtuosly, do not fear him” but rather, his pronouncements hasve shamed many doubting Thomases that doubted existence of prophets of God for years.
When things were rosy for former governor of Balyesa State, Sylva Timipre, and Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, he told them to “rejoice not for you are in the midst of enemies.” He predicted the ouster of Sylva from office and the political crisis in Rivers State at the moment. He said that the governor would end up as guest of anti-graft agency while the repercussion would cause the President huge political loss.
The cleric also predicted that more governors from Niger Delta will still have problems with the President  except they prayed fervently. He urged the First Lady to commit herself to God over pending health problem that would lead to medical surgery in October.
On his latest revelations, Ayodele declared: “Let Nigerians and other nations hear the word of God now. I foresee the creation of more states and discovery of more oil wells in Ogun and other states.”
“God told me about the second term victory of Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, and Daily Independent reported on it October 19, 2012. Tell the governor to pray against plot by his close associates to make his political platform irrelevant towards the end of his tenure. Political crisis is imminent in Kwara State. Let Governor Abdulfatal Ahmed pray to avoid what could make him have sleepless nights. Akwa Ibom State governor should be careful on his political steps that may backfire soon.
“Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State may be disgraced politically by opposition parties during the next election and I can see internal wrangling within the cabinet of Governor Theodore Orji of Abia State. The people of Ebonyi State should pray against boat mishap and Onitsha traders too should seek God to avert a major fire disaster soon. The Secretary to the Federal Government, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, should avoid moves that could lead to his removal from office. A cloud is hovering above his seat.”
The prophet further said: “If people would humble themselves, God would calm the storm. In as much as I don’t see PDP making an appreciable impact in the South West during the next election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors in Ogun and Oyo states should not be carried away by their achievements. They need prayers to retain their seats.
“Bola Tinubu, the national leader of APC must be careful on the crisis that would come up on who succeeds Governor Babatunde Fashola and imposition of candidates. That may cause the party’s defeat. Tinubu must pray for good health as we approach the 2015 elections. Let him also rebuke what could make his political career nosedived after the next general elections. There would be new chairman for Lagos State Internal Revenue Service and Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) will probe some of the directors at the agency. However, the work of the EFCC chairman will not be appreaciated and he will be removed suddenly. The Chief Justice of the federation will encounter some hinderance that may threaten her seat too. Judges at the Supreme Court must rebuke sudden death
“PDP should consult God on its presidential candidate. The party’s 2013 mini-convention will cause crisis between its national chairman, Bamagar Tukur and Jonathan. The fallout may lead to the forceful removal of the chairman. If that happens, it would further polarise the party. Tukur risks warrant of arrest if he is not careful, but certainly, the leadership of the party would be changed.
“Former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s relevance in Nigeria’s politics will continue to dwindle. He needs prayers because he is into his last political game. Political crisis among PDP governors will continue no matter what. During the presidential election, South East leaders will disappoint their people on Igbo presidency project as money will be used to divide them.”
“South West leaders will not back Jonathan’s re-election and there would be confusion in the North. Two strong Northern presidential candidates would emerge from the APC and Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM). That would further deplete PDP’s strongholds in Nigeria.”
The prophet, however, warned that if the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is starved of fund as is being programmed, the 2015 election would be rigged.  “I don’t see PDP winning the poll. If President Jonathan gets a shaky victory without seeking God, the nation will face multiple crises. I foresee a run-off in the presidential election.
“Let us offer prayers against political assassination from November this year through next year in Lagos, Kano, Abuja and Kano states. The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) must pray against serious crisis in its national executive which could  divide the union soon.”
“Between 2015 and 2017, sharing formular of oil proceedes and democrasy will give Nigeria headache. If elections are rigged, I foresee a part of the country obtaining visa before accessing the other region. There would be new currencies and flags; some parts would maintain the colour of the present flag while a section would come up with red and green flag. The economy would not be stable under the current leadership except the leaders go for spiritual cleansing, the spirit of the lord says.
“A new  and stronger terrorist group is already in Nigeria being trained by some foreigners; we need prayers to conquer them. They will attempt to bomb some parts in the South West. I plead with the South West governors to close ranks and take security of the zone seriously. Let people pray to avert a major train accident in the South West too.”
“In 2014, service chiefs will be changed to combat terrorism and more police commissioners would be replaced. I could see sudden retirement of some police and army officers between November and December this year. The Customs Controller General will be changed and government will disappoint people with a new appointment. The Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) will be removed soon except prayers are offered.”
The cleric urged Nigerians to assist Mama Hanna Dideolu Awololo, Alhaji Adamu Ciroma, Lateef Jakande, TY Danjuma, Aresekola-Alao, Emirs of Kano, Zamfara and Gusua on their health.
On the international scene, he said: “President Jonathan needs to be prayerful as there are plans by the international community to embarrass his government. America will take over Syria no matter what. The President of Syria may be killed if he is not careful, as many nations would rise against him. The Emir of Qatar will be troubled by reforms.”
