A bomb explosion has reportedly ripped through a popular market in Kano, killing scores of persons and wounding several others.
Eye-witnesses say the explosive was planted at a crowded motor park known as Falil Parking, close to Kantin Kwari market along the Ibrahim Taiwo Road in the city.
The bomb reportedly went off around 3.00pm.
