In an attempt to truncate the current electoral process and desperate move to frustrate perceived victory of the opposition, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and Presidency have allegedly hatched fresh plots to disqualify President Goodluck Jonathan and Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, both the leading Presidential candidates of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC to ensure the March 28 presidential election thwarted and Interim National Government installed.
According to an insider source who pleaded anonymity; former President Ibrahim Gbadamosi Babangida, IBB and Jonathan’s Minister of Defence, Alhaji Aliyu Gusau on Saturday held a close door meeting where the plan to disqualify Jonathan, Buhari was perfected. The details of the plan still sketchy
Our source further revealed that the alleged plot to disqualify President Jonathan and Maj. Gen Muhammadu Buhari was orchestrated and approved by President Goodluck Jonathan to ensure he frustrate the imminent victory of All progressives Congress, APC presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari at the March 28 presidential poll.
IBB immediately traveled out of the country to Germany on Saturday night for medical attention after the plan on the devilish disqualification plot was perfected, our source stated.
Former military head of states had recently denied any involvement in the purported interim national government.
Wondering why Aliyu Gusau, the Defense Minister joined the plot to frustrate Buhari’s perceived victory, our source revealed said, “Gusau is an old foe of Gen. Muhammadu Buahri. Buhari dismissed Gusau from the army for corruption charges while he was the Head of States, but was reinstated by IBB when he, Buhari was overthrown in 1985.
Also, another plan by the Presidency in collaboration with some compromised security agents to implicate and smear the name of the All Progressives Congress and Gen Muhammadu Buhari through the recruitment of large number of foreigners from neighbouring countries such as Chad, Cameroon and Niger and give them faked cloned Permanent Voters Cards in Jigawa; Katsina; Kebbi; Adamawa; Bornu and Yobe States has been uncovered
According to source, the aim is to pin the crime on All Progressives Congress, APC and used it as a pretext to further postpone the election, another source revealed
