Ex-Gov Alao-Akala Dumps Labour Party Joins APC

Gov Ajimobi Of Oyo Shares Big Laughter With Alao-Akala 

The Labour Party governorship candidate in the Oyo 2015 guber election and former Oyo State governor, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala has dumped his party for All Progressives Congress(APC). Going by reports, Alao-Akala held the final meeting with leaders and his followers at his Bodija residence in Ibadan yesterday where he announced his plan to defect to the ruling party. To this end, all his followers in their respective wards across the state are to join APC. 



The formal declaration for Alao-Akala's defection is expected to hold in 2016. it is imperative to note that the former governor has been attending some APC programmes lately and was spotted with ex-Osun governor/APC chieftain Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola at the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi's coronation ceremony.
