Delta Flight Attendant Missing After Quitting Her Job

Police are looking for a 30-year-old flight attendant who went missing in Queens

A 30-year-old Queens flight attendant is missing after last being seen at LaGuardia Airport Thursday, January 14.
According to Pix 11 news, Sierra Shields was last seen around noon that day speaking to her supervisor. The Delta flight attendant reportedly quit her job and left the airport in a navy blue dress. Shields never made the flight she was scheduled to fly later that day and still hasn’t been seen since. Her phone and wallet were reportedly found in her apartment.

Shields family has created the Find Sierra Shields Facebook page, asking anyone who has any idea about the young woman’s whereabouts to please come forward. A separate Find Sierra group has also been created to organize efforts to find Shields, such as calling hospitals, searching neighborhoods on foot, and checking shelters.
The Facebook page has amassed more than 3,600 likes and is full of posts by members like Renata Sweeney and Crystal Shields, who have changed their profile pictures to the missing person flyer.

“This is my beautiful and sweet little sister,” read a post on Crystal’s Facebook page. “She is the kindest soul, and right now she is missing. Please if you live in New York, or really anywhere, share her picture. Please help find her. Please.”

Shields is described as 5-feet-7 and weighing about 160 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a navy-blue dress.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
