Buhari Set To Release Names Of Treasury Looters - Allegedly Recovers N50 Billion from 'Cooperative Looters'


Unconfirmed reports have it that the Federal Government is set to release the names of treasury looters as promised by President Muhammadu Buhari which will exclude the names of financial offenders who have voluntarily returned slush funds without the influence of anti-graft agencies.
SaharaReporters has exclusively disclosed that the President Buhari-led federal government has recovered a whooping sum of N50 billion from treasury looters who have voluntary returned their illegal wealth.
 
According to reports from the online news platform's Twitter page, the names of the cooperatives looters will be excluded from the corruption list to be made public through the office of the Ministry of Information led by the former national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.
 
Other report also has it that the apex bank in Nigeria, Central Bank of Nigeria had a scare of the invasion of counterfeit foreign exchange which is currently under intense scrutiny.
