Man Murder Girlfriend's Son After She Left The Toddler At Home With Him

A Bowie County grand jury indicted a Texarkana man recently for murder in the November 2015 death of a toddler.
Michael Decarius Moore, 25, allegedly caused the blunt force injuries that led to the death of 2-year-old KaDerius Lamar King on Nov. 21. Moore is currently being held in the Bowie County jail on a charge of first degree murder.Moore faces five to 99 years or life in prison if convicted.

Officers who responded to assist first responders in the 1000 block of Waterall Street in Texarkana, Texas, the night before the toddler died were told the youngster choked on food.
But an autopsy told a different story.
“An autopsy indicated the cause of death was blunt force trauma and listed numerous hemorrhages and contusions on the head and trunk of the victim,” a probable cause affidavit states. “The victim’s mother left him in the custody of Michael Moore.”
Moore allegedly told investigators he dropped the boy while running through the house with him in his arms.
