Stepping out from her New York hotel on Saturday, the singer donned a cage like headpiece that was reminiscent of the one worn by famous Hollywood cannibal Hannibal Lecter.
The Born This Way star is known for her outlandish costumes but even this one seemed to be pushing her own boundaries.
The black cage enclosed the whole of the singer's newly blonded head and was accessorised by a golden cherub and chains.
The singer's creative director Nicola Formichetti said this week he, 'regrets some of Gaga's looks. But she works it... mostly'.
