As the resident pastor of Faith Tabernacle, Ota, he is expected to oversee the activities of the church worldwide and forward such to his father, Bishop David Oyedepo. There is possibility of alignment and re-alignment in the pastorate of the church with the coming of David Oyedepo junior as the resident pastor, as some pastors are likely to be redeploy, to pace way for the young ones in the ministry.
The Living Faith Church however, denied rumours that the founder of the church, Bishop David Oyedepo, was set to retire from active service. In a text message on Friday, the Church’s Mandate Secretary, Pastor Yemi Nathaniel, said any such reports were not true.
He said, “Every apostolic ministry like ours is a priestly commission and because priesthood is for a lifetime, his (Oyedepo) presidency and priesthood is for a lifetime.

“For those interested, the Red Book, The Mandate, explains our succession plan. The good news of generational success as promised by God for the righteous must be causing pains for the ignorant, the envious and the wicked. Refuse to be a part of propagating evil.” Reports on Friday had claimed that Oyedepo’s eldest son, David Jnr, who presides over the branch of the church in London, United Kingdom, was to be named the resident pastor of Canaanland, the church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State on January 10.
We celebrate this good news at Amazing stories around the world. Its the Lord's doing, it's marvellous in our eyes.
